Honor Magic to Feature 5.09″ 2K AMOLED Display, 12MP Dual Rear Cameras, & Magic Live UI

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor will be unveiling its latest smartphone later today in China. The device will be named as Honor Magic and is said to be a concept phone with several new features. As rumors suggested, the Honor Magic sports a dual curved 3D glass on front and back of the device with an Aluminum metal frame. It supports all the major Chinese carriers and might offer dual SIM dual standby. The device comes with an IRIS scanner and the company is introducing several new features based on this. Even the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 also featured the same sensor but that is used for just unlocking the device.

The Honor Magic comes with a FaceCode feature, where the device shows notifications with complete information when the user holds the device. The Magic with the help of IRIS sensor can identify the user is the owner or not and can hide the sensitive information from the lock screen. One more new feature is the Wisescreen, where the device automatically brightness the display based on the surrounding conditions. The Deepthink feature works same as the Google Now On Tap, where the user gets the information based on the content on screen by long pressing the home key.

The device comes with Magic Live UI and includes several first of its kind features. It sports a 5.09-inch AMOLE display with Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. Though its parent company had the latest Kirin 960 and 955 processors, the Honor Magic still uses the Kirin 950 octa-core processor. It includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. On the rear of the device is a dual camera setup featuring two 12MP sensors. The 2,900mAh non-removable battery comes with Huawei Magic Power fast charging technology. With this technology, the device can be charged from 0% to 70% in just 20 minutes.
