Panasonic Eluga We Smartphone launched in Taiwan with all metal body

Panasonic has launched a new mid-range smartphone called as Panasonic Eluga We in Taiwan today with all metal body for a price of Taiwan $4990 (approx Rs. 10593, USD $164). This Japanese multinational electronic company has added this new device in its Eluga series and is available in online on the company’s official Taiwanese website. The device supports LTE FDD connectivity and also comes with three integrated magnet speakers to provide excellent sound quality.
The Panasonic Eluga We come with a 5-inch touchscreen HD display with 2.5D curved glass on the top and measures 144 mm x 70.6 mm 8.05mm, weighing 136 grams. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The onboard storage on the handset is limited to 16GB, but the user can extend it further up to 64GB via microSD card slot. On the rear of the device, there is a fingerprint sensor, to enhance the security levels to provide security to its users.
On the camera front, there is a 13MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture which will be accompanied by a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture. Panasonic has not included the fancy dual camera setup on this mid-range device, but we can expect it to be rolled out with its high-end handsets. Out of the box, the handset will run on Android 7.0 Nougat and might get a further update later. To power this device there is a 2400mAh battery in the rear which should last an entire day on normal usage. The Eluga We support single SIM card with 4G connectivity and also includes other connectivity options like Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, and GPS.
Recently we have seen Panasonic announcing Eluga I3 Mega in India for Rs, 11,490 with 5.5-inch HD display and it is powered by a quad-core processor with a clocking speed of 1.3GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM. It came out of the box with Android Marshmallow 6.0 and had a 4000mAh non-removable battery. On the camera front, there is a 13MP main camera accompanied with 5MP on the front. Nothing is known about the global roll-out of the handset for now, but we will get back to you once we hear it from the company.
