The consumers can purchase a new smartphone at Rs. 7,000 or Rs. 8,000 without compromising over the performance or the latest specifications. Most of these smartphones even come with a fingerprint sensor to enhance the security. Below is the list of latest smartphones priced under Rs. 10,000 in India. Panasonic Eluga Ray X – Rs. 8,999
The Eluga Ray X is the latest affordable smartphone from Panasonic. It is priced at Rs. 8,999 and comes in Gold, Rose Gold, and Space Grey color variants. The company also introduced its own virtual assistant called Arbo, and it comes pre-loaded with the Eluga Ray X. It sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display which is bigger than 5.2-inch Full HD display on Eluga Ray Max. The device is powered by MediaTek MT6737 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The physical home button beneath the display also features a fingerprint sensor. Though there is a home button, the device comes with on-screen navigation buttons. In the camera department, there is a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery that can easily last more than a day of usage. The Eluga Ray X measures 153.4 x 77 x 10.5 mm and weighs 193 grams.
Xiaomi Redmi 4A – Rs. 5,999
Xiaomi Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime smartphones launched in 2016 are the most popular smartphones under Rs. 10,000 price range. This year, Xiaomi came with the all-new Redmi 4A smartphone priced at Rs. 5,999. Unlike the Redmi 3S devices, the new Redmi 4A comes with a plastic body. At such a low price, the device comes with pretty good hardware and also supports 4G VoLTE for using with Jio 4G SIM. It sports a 5-inch display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and includes Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. The Adreno 308 GPU takes care of the graphic performance on this device. It includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. With the MicroSD card slot, the user can further expand the storage additionally upto 128GB. There is a 13MP camera on the rear with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. On the front is a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. The Redmi 4A is backed by a 3,120mAh battery that is rated to last 7 days on standby mode.
Coolpad Note 5 Lite – Rs. 8,199
With the Coolpad Note 5 priced at Rs. 10,999, the company offered almost high-end specifications like 4GB RAM, unibody metal body, Full HD Display, and a huge 4,100mAh Battery. A couple of weeks back, the company launched the Coolpad Note 5 Lite with the same design as the larger Note 5. The Note 5 Lite is priced at Rs. 8,199 and comes with a smaller 5-inch HD IPS display. Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1Ghz and comes coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE connectivity on both the SIM’s. On the camera front, there is a 13MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and an 8MP selfie camera. Both the cameras are accompanied with LED flash. On the rear, we can find the circular fingerprint sensor sitting below the protruding rear camera. The Note 5 Lite sports a 2,500mAh non-removable battery that can last 200 hours on standby mode.
Lenovo Vibe B – Rs. 5,799
The Lenovo Vibe B is the company’s latest affordable smartphone to launch in India. Unlike the Xiaomi Redmi 4A, the Vibe B comes with very basic specifications, but there are no flash sales to buy this device. It is priced at Rs. 5,799 and is sold through offline and online stores. There is a small 4.5-inch display with FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution and comes powered by 1GHz MediaTek MT6735M quad-core processor coupled with Mali T720 MP1 GPU. It includes 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to another 32GB via MicroSD card slot. The device is kept powered on by a 2,000mAh removable battery that is rated to deliver 11 hours of talk time and lasts up to 7 days in standby mode. There is a 5MP fixed focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE only on any one of the two slots.
Swipe Elite Sense – Rs. 7,499
Swipe is known for launching affordable Android smartphones here in India. While the devices come with competitive specifications, the availability of these devices is only limited to online stores. The Elite Sense is the company’s latest budget friendly smartphone to launch in March. It costs Rs. 7,499 and comes in Space Grey and Champagne Gold color options. There is a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display. There is a Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz that comes coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and includes pre-installed bloatware apps which decrease the available storage on this device. The device sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 8MP selfie camera on the front. On the rear of the polycarbonate body is a fingerprint sensor for enhancing the security.
