Sony Xperia XZs with 4GB RAM & 19MP Camera to Launch in India on April 4th

At the recently concluded Mobile World Congress, Sony launched the flagship smartphone Xperia XZ Premium with a 4K display and also the Xperia XZs, the upgraded variant of the last year’s Xperia XZ. While there is no news about the launch of Xperia XZ Premium in the Indian market, the company is actually bringing the smaller Xperia XZs. It will be officially launched on April 4th and on the same date, Lenovo is launching the affordable Moto G5 exclusively on Amazon India. Talking about the device itself, it comes with a metal body and will be available in Ice Blue, Warm Silver, and Black color options.
The design looks exactly same as the last year’s Xperia XZ and even the specifications also remain same, except the rear camera sensor. The Xperia XZs sports a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Triluminos display with big bezels on the top and bottom edges. Under the hood is the last year’s Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. It also packs 4GB of RAM which is good enough even for the heavy multi-tasking. Though Xperia XZs comes with 64GB of internal storage, there is also a MicroSD card for further expansion up to 256GB.

It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, and the company will surely upgrade the device to upcoming Android O once it is released. With all these high-end specifications, the device is backed by a 2,900mAh non-removable battery and supports Qnovo adaptive fast charging with Quick Charge mode. The device measures 146 x 72 x 8.1 mm and weighs 161 grams. The Indian variants come with dual SIM dual standby feature and offer 4G VoLTE support. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. The official pricing of the Xperia XZs will be announced on the launch day which is just a week away.
