Panasonic launches the new Eluga Ray X & the Eluga Ray Max smartphones in India

Panasonic India has launched two new smartphones here at an event in New Delhi, India. The company launched two new devices in the Eluga series called the Eluga Ray X and the Eluga Ray Max. Both of these devices comes with the company’s new Artificial Intelligence Assistant called ‘Arbo.’ The Eluga Ray X is priced at Rs 8,999, whereas the Eluga Ray Max is priced at Rs 11,499 for 32GB and Rs 12,499 for 64GB storage variant. Both the devices are priced quite aggressively, and they both offer a decent set of specs for the price as well.
Eluga Ray X
Talking about the Eluga Ray X, it comes with an IPS 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3Ghz, and it sports 3GB of RAM as well. On the camera side of things, we have a 5MP front facing shooter, and for the primary camera, we have a 13MP shooter. There is also a 4,000 mAh battery inside which keeps the show running. Do make a note that there is no quick charge technology here.
As mentioned earlier, the smartphone is priced at Rs. 8,999, and it comes in only one variant i.e. 32GB, and yes, it also comes with the new Arbo Digital Assistant.
Eluga Ray Max
Along with the Eluga Ray X smartphone, the company also launched the new Eluga Ray Max smartphone. It comes with a 5.2″ IPS full-HD display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels, and it is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.4GHz, and it also sports 4GB of RAM. This is comparatively better in comparison to the Eluga Ray X smartphone. On the camera side of things here, we are looking at a 16MP rear facing shooter and an 8MP front-facing camera for the selfies.
There is a 3,000 mAh battery which keeps the device running, and unlike the Eluga Ray Max, it comes with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The Eluga Ray Max also comes with the new Arbo Assistant and both the smartphones will be exclusively available on e-commerce website Flipkart in a couple of days.
