Micromax Launches the Dual 5 Smartphone with Dual Rear 13MP Cameras at Rs. 24,999

Micromax finally showed up in the news again with a smartphone this time as they have launched the new Dual 5 smartphone at an event here in New Delhi, India. This is the company’s latest flagship smartphone as it calls it and it is priced quite aggressively and it also a great set of specs for the price. The company’s CEO Rahul Sharma had a lot to talk about the cameras on this device, which makes us believe that it is more of a camera-centric smartphone more than anything else. It has two 13MP sensors at the back and even on the front, there is a 13MP selfie camera.
Talking about the smartphone itself, it is made of a single slab of aircraft grade aluminum. It has a 5.5″ FHD SuperAMOLED display on the front which is covered by a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Internally, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor and it has Adreno 510 for graphics processing. The smartphone has 4GB of RAM and along with that there is also a 128GB of internal storage and if that is not enough, then you can also expand it via an SD card.
The Dual 5 smartphone also has an IR Blaster for controlling the appliances. The smartphone also has a separate key to the left side of the device which is completely customizable. You can assign it to any app or action you want. Internally it is powered by a 3200 mAh battery and it also supported Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging. The Dual 5 also has an independent security chip which should make it more secure while using it transactions and there is also a fingerprint scanner at the back.
The Dual 5 smartphone is priced at Rs. 24,999 and it comes with 1 year warranty. The smartphone will be available to purchase on both online as well as offline markets starting 10th April.
