Honor 9 confirmed to be launched on 12th June in Shanghai

Recently we have seen Honor 9 was spotted with the model number STF-AL00 and STF-AL10 and now the company has started sending official media invitation suggesting that the handset will be launched on 12th of June in Shanghai and expected to be followed by the announcement in Berlin for Europe on 27th of June. The invitation stars Hu Ge who is a Chinese actor and a singer with a gesture, confirming the device will be camera-centric.

Well, nothing is confirmed about the specs yet, but according to previous leaks, the new device from Honor is expected to come with a 5.15-inch touch screen display with FHD resolution and Gorilla Glass protection on the top. Under the hood, there is a Kirin 960 Chipset confirming that this device will be the flagship model for the company this year. On the camera front, there will be a 20MP sensor on the rear which will be accompanied with 12MP selfie camera.

The fingerprint sensor has moved to the front side which will be embedded on the home button. As of now, these are the expected specifications of this handset, but we need to take these with a pinch of salt as nothing is officially confirmed by the company except for the launch date. We need to wait few more days to get all the official information about the handset along with its pricing.
