OnePlus 5 leaks hint at Dual Camera Setup & 3,300 mAh Battery in Slimmer Profile

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

We have been seeing a lot of leaks and rumors about the upcoming OnePlus 5 smartphone, which is expected to launch on June 15th. While we are just a couple of weeks away from the official launch of the smartphone, it looks like there is no end to these leaks and rumors. Over the past few days, we had reported about the box design, some hardware specs like the device being slimmer than OnePlus 3T, etc. And now, we have yet another new leak which confirms two main feature of the smartphone.

According to the new report which we have, it looks like the OnePlus 5 will sport a Dual Rear Camera setup. The same has been confirmed by a leaked image which reads what appears to be one of the taglines which the company will be using. It says, “Dual Camera. Clearer Pictures.” Well, you don’t have to be an expert to figure it out by now that the upcoming OnePlus 5 is going to come with a Dual camera setup. Yes, this is one of those rumors which we have been chasing around for a while now, however, it looks like we finally have some confirmation on the same.

And now talking about the second leak, it is coming again from the microblogging site, Weibo. What we have here is a very unusual looking poster which reads 3,300 mAh battery. And yes, it looks like we will be getting a smaller battery this time around with the OnePlus 5 as compared to the one which we got with the OnePlus 3T. This is not necessarily a bad thing after. The battery life on the OnePlus 3T was pretty good and hence the same can be expected from the OnePlus 5 as well. Moreover, if you ever run out of the battery, then you can anyway quickly top it off with the Dash Charger.

Also, having a slightly smaller battery also means that we could be seeing a slimmer profile. And if you have been following us, then you already that we had reported about the OnePlus being thinner than the OnePlus 3T. With that, we are expecting the OnePlus 5 to be a really good performer overall. Having said that, we would like to know your thoughts on this. Would you be interested in buying this smartphone when it comes out? Be sure to let us know by dropping a comment down below and also, stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more info like this.
