The Nubia N2 is the successor to the last year’s Nubia N1 which came with a huge 5,000mAh battery.
Nubia M2
As said earlier, the Nubia M2 is the companies first smartphone to sports dual rear camera. It comes with a 13MP RGB sensor and another 13MP Monochrome sensor. Both the sensors are protected by Sapphire glass lens and feature f/2.2 aperture and NeoVision 6.0 camera technology. For selfies, Nubia also included a whopping 16MP sensor on the front with f/2.0 aperture and 80-degree wide angle. Talking about the other specifications, there is a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood is the 64-bit Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz and comes coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
The device comes in 64GB and 128GB storage variants with MicroSD card slot support for storage expansion up to additional 200GB. It still runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with customized Nubia UI 4.0 laid on top. The Nubia M2 is also the company’s first smartphone to feature a physical home button on the front, where it comes integrated with a fingerprint sensor. It is backed by a 3,630mAh non-removable battery with in-house NeoPower fast charging support. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C port. It comes with a 5.5-inch IPS display with just HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. Just like the Gionee’s latest A1 smartphone, the M2 Lite also uses the year’s old MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-T860 GPU. It comes with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. There is also MicroSD card for storage expansion upto 128GB. In the camera department, there is a single 13MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, and dual tone LED flash. On the front is the same 16MP selfie camera as seen on the Nubia M2. Interestingly, the Nubia M2 Lite runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based Nubia UI 4.0. Though it runs on the latest Android version, there will little visible differences as it comes with a completely customized UI laid on top. The Nubia M2 Lite is backed by a 3,000mAh Li-ion battery with 5V/2A fast charging support. It supports dual SIM dual standby using the hybrid slot where the user can opt for a MicroSD card instead of a secondary SIM. The device measures 155.73 x 76.7 x 7.5 mm and weighs 164 grams.
Nubia N2
The Nubia N2 comes with an all-new design with physical home button and curved Antenna bands. It also sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, while the last year’s Nubia N1 is equipped with a regular LTPS panel with the same resolution. It sports MediaTek octa-core processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device supports dual SIM dual standby with the hybrid SIM slot and offers 4G LTE connectivity. In the camera department, the 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF remains same as on the Nubia N1. But the 13MP front camera is now upgraded to a 16MP sensor that captures better selfies.
As seen on its predecessor, the Nubia N2 is also backed by a 5,000mAh battery that can give 60 hours of talk time and includes 18W fast charging support. Though the device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, it supports split screen multitasking where the user can use two apps simultaneously. The connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm Audio port, and USB Type-C Port.
