OnePlus could be hinting at a Blue OnePlus 3T with this tweet

OnePlus launched the OnePlus 3T smartphone by the end of last year and it is the currently the flagship offering from the company. The smartphone was launched in just two color variants, out of which one is Gunmetal Grey and the other one is Soft Gold. Now it looks like we will be getting a new color option and oddly enough it looks like it will be Blue. Yes, a new tweet which was sent out by OnePlus gives us a date which is ‘3/15/17’ and this date very well could be the date when might see the new variant of the smartphone.

Taking a look at the tweet, it reads, “Something is about to go down with @oneplus & @coletteparis- stay tuned.” The image has a blue background and hence there is a lot of speculation surrounding this stating that the company might be launching a new blue-hued OnePlus 3T smartphone. The image also has OnePlus Logo along with Colette Paris Logo which indicates that this new Blue variant could be a fashionable blue hued smartphone since Colette Paris is a fashion and accessory retailer.

However, other than that, we have no other info on the same and hence we suggest you to stay put until we see what the company announced officially. It is highly possible that we could be getting some accessories as well instead of a smartphone. It is speculated that we might see some connected accessory like a smart watch, which is very much possible since OnePlus hasn’t entered the wearable market yet. So who knows! Just don’t be surprised if you end up seeing a new smart watch while you wait for the blue OnePlus 3T.

Previously it was also expected that the company will launch a Black or maybe a Jet Black version of OnePlus 3T or OnePlus 5. However, we didn’t get any info about it after that whatsoever and certainly the hype is dead. However, this could be an interesting move from OnePlus to launch new variants of the smartphone to keep things fresh instead of launching a new smartphone altogether.
