OnePlus 5 revealed via Leaked Render image, India Launch set for June 22nd

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

OnePlus will be launching its next flagship on June 22nd here in India. While the Global unveiling is set for June 20th, Indians will have to wait until June 22nd to know the official pricing of the smartphone here in India. Yes, we cannot confirm anything about the pricing until June 22nd. However, we can show you what the smartphone will look like. The good folks over at Android Police have posted an image of what appears to be the final/ official render of the OnePlus 5 smartphone.

As you can see from the featured image above, the smartphone does have a dual rear camera setup. If this is the final variant, then it puts an end to all the rumors about the smartphone coming with a vertical alignment of the camera sensors. We can clearly see an iPhone 7 Plus like set up here. It is also expected that the dual camera will work similar to how it works on the iPhone 7 Plus, i.e., with blurred background giving a “Portrait” shot.

Well, coming back to the design of the smartphone, we don’t have a lot of things to report since we don’t have a complete look at the device. However, one thing which we can confirm is the fact that it does have a sizable amount of bezels (at least on the top). We also have the alert slider on the left side on top of the volume rockers. Now, what is to be seen if all the rumors which we have seen so far, turns out to be true or not.

As far as the launch of this smartphone is concerned, it is scheduled to debut on June 20th. That is when we will be able to see the smartphone officially in all its glory. However, as far as the pricing of the smartphone in India is concerned, we will have to wait until June 22nd since the India launch is scheduled on that date. Having said that, we would like to know your thoughts on this. Are you excited for the launch of the smartphone?
