Honor 6C Is Reportedly Launching In China With A Price Tag Of 799 Yuan
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Honor is a sub-brand of Huawei, which focuses more on launching a range of affordable smartphones with a decent set of specs. Some of the previous successful launches in the past include the Honor 8, Honor 8 Pro, Honor 6X, etc. And now, on the same line, the company is also set to launch a new one for the Chinese market called the Honor 6C.
For those of you who don’t know, the Honor 6C was launched a couple of months back in Europe with a price tag of €229. And if you are aware of that, then you probably already know that this is in fact, just the rebranded Honor Enjoy 6S smartphone, which the company launched back in China last year. Well, yes, so essentially, what Honor is looking to do here is, launch a rebranded smartphone again in the same market where it was initially launched.
Now, talking about the specs of this smartphone, it looks like nothing will be changed. Apparently, the smartphone was already spotted on TENAA and it looks like it will pack the same 5″ HD display on the front, which means that has a resolution of 1280 x 720. Internally, it is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, which is a processor clocked at 1.4Ghz. This is said to be coupled with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
In terms of the storage, it looks like it will only have 16GB internal storage, however, it will also have an option to expand it up to 128GB via a microSD card. In terms of the optics, it has been reported that will sport a 13MP rear-facing sensor, whereas, on the front, we should be seeing a 5MP selfie shooter. In terms of the software, the Honor 6C is said to be running on Android 7.0 Nougat with the custom EMUI 5.1 laid on top of it. Looking at the specs, it certainly does looks like a solid competitor to Xiaomi’s Note 5A smartphone. The Xiaomi Note 5A, however, has a metal body but this one, on the other hand, has a polycarbonate body.
As far as the pricing and the availability is concerned, it has been reported that this smartphone will be priced at 799 Yuan in China, which roughly translates to about 8,000 INR. It looks like the Honor 6C will be launching very soon in China and if you are interested in this, then we suggest you stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more info on this.
