Samsung Galaxy Note 8’s Display Is Far Better Than Galaxy S8, Says DisplayMate
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Back in the day, when the Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphones were launched, everyone was talking about their displays since it pretty much the first of its kind. The Infinity display soon became everyone’s favorite and no one could stop talking about them. In fact, the research firm DisplayMate even said that the Galaxy S8 has the best-looking display on any smartphone right now in the market. However, it looks like now, things have changed a bit.
Yes, the same research firm now says that the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone has the best display out there in the market. Well, we think Samsung won’t mind that! According to them, the Galaxy Note 8’s display quality has surpassed the one on the previously launched Galaxy S8 smartphones. In fact, the firm has given its first ever A+ rating to the Galaxy Note 8’s display, which is definitely a huge deal.
According to the firm, it looks like one of the most important noticeable difference between the displays of the two devices is the brightness levels. It has been reported that the display on the Galaxy Note 8 can be increased up to 22-percent higher than the one on the Galaxy S8. It is also noted that a much higher brightness level can be achieved with the Galaxy Note 8 when it is set manually, instead of going for the automatic mode. It is recommended that users should use it in manual mode only to save some battery as well.
And in addition to all of this, DisplayMate also says that the Galaxy Note 8’s display has a larger native color gamut in comparison to the Galaxy S8, which is already quite good. Along with that, the firm also noted the good viewing angle and color accuracy with the Note 8’s panel. Overall, there is an improvement in the performance, power saving modes, etc. as well, making it a very promising offering.
With all that being said, it is definitely worth noting that Samsung’s smartphones have some of the best display panels on the market and there is no denying that. Although, there are a ton of other offerings out there in the market which has tried copying the Infinity display, none of them as nearly as good as what Samsung is offering. With that said, we would like to know your thoughts on this and hence be sure to leave a comment down below.
