Vivo V7 & V7+ Smartphones to Feature 24MP Selfie Camera
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Vivo has confirmed to launch the Vivo V7+ smartphone on September 7th in India. It will be the successor to Vivo V5 Plus launched in the first half 2017. As seen with the Vivo V5 and V5 Plus, the company will be launching the Vivo V7+ first in the market and the Vivo V7 might launch later this year. While there is no other official information about the Vivo V7 and V7+ smartphones, the new leaks suggest both these devices to feature 24MP selfie camera. Just like Vivo V5 and V5 Plus, we might be seeing 24MP single selfie camera on the V7 and 24MP dual-lens selfie camera on the V7 Plus.
Since the authenticity of the leaked image is unknown, take these details with a pinch of salt. The device will be coming with an unibody metal design and might sport slimmer bezels than the predecessors. We also expect to see the under-display fingerprint sensor introduced by Vivo at the MWC Shanghai held in June 2017. It works based on the Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint technology and was demoed with the current flagship smartphone, Vivo XPlay 6. The Vivo V7+ might also run on Android 7.0 Nougat based FunTouch OS out of the box.
As the expected launch date is less two weeks away, we will be seeing more leaks in coming days. Based on the rumors, the Vivo V7+ will come with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the newly announced Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor with custom Kryo 260 cores and Adreno 512 GPU. There will be 6GB of RAM to offer seamless multitasking along with 128GB of internal storage. On the rear, we will be looking at the same 16MP camera as seen on the V5 Plus.
While the Vivo V5 came with a 20MP single 20MP front facing camera, the V5 Plus sports 20MP + 8MP dual front cameras. The Vivo V5 Plus came with Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, whereas the Vivo V5 is powered by MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor. Both the Vivo V5 and V5 Plus sports physical home button on the front with an integrated fingerprint sensor. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details about the upcoming Vivo V7 and V7+ smartphones.
