Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei launched the new Honor V9 smartphone earlier this year. Initially, the smartphone was launched in China and later, this was launched as Honor 8 Pro in India. If you are interested, then you can read the full written review of the Honor 8 Pro here. Now, after all this time, it looks like the company is planning on launching the new Honor V9 Mini. Just like the name suggests, this will be a mini variant of the originally launched Honor V9 smartphone.
Talking about this new Honor V9 Mini, we have now spotted the live leaked images of the same, online. The image was leaked on the Chinese social networking website Weibo. The leaked image, however, doesn’t really shows the smartphone properly. The image shows two smartphones stacked one above the other. The one on the top is the previously launched Honor V9 and it has been reported that the one on the bottom is the Honor V9 Mini.
As you can see from the image, the Honor V9 Mini looks quite small in comparison to the V9. Apart from the smaller footprint, we can also see the Aurora Blue color which indicates that the smartphone will be offered in that color option, just like the Honor V9. However, other than that, we don’t have any other info about the device itself. Also, since the device is not clearly visible from the top, we suggest you take this info with a pinch of salt.
And talking about the device itself, we don’t have any other rumors as well. However, it is expected that it will more or similar to the regular variant, with the only major difference being the overall footprint of the smartphone. In terms of the specs, we expect it to be more or less similar to the V9. Talking about the Honor V9, it is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 960 SoC and has 6GB of RAM. On the front, there is a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The highlight of the smartphone is, however, the dual rear-facing cameras. They are one of the best ones which you can get in the market.
With that said, if you are interested in this smartphone, then we suggest you stay tuned since we hope to learn more about it in coming days. Meanwhile, you can let us know your thoughts on this by leaving a comment down below.
