Lenovo to Launch K8 Note Lite & K8 Plus Smartphones in India in September
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Lenovo has recently launched the Amazon-exclusive K8 Note smartphone in India. It packs decent mid-range specifications and is aggressively priced at just Rs. 12,999 for the 3GB RAM variant. Now, the company might launch two new smartphones under the K-series called as Lenovo K8 Note Lite and K8 Plus. While there is no information about the exact launch date of these two devices, the company is expected to launch them in the second-half September. We expect the K8 Note Lite to feature smaller display compared to the K8 Note.
The Lenovo K8 Plus was recently listed on Geekbench revealing few key specifications. It is mentioned to come powered by MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core processor clocked at 1.69GHz and comes coupled with 3GB of RAM. While the Lenovo K8 Note became the first Lenovo smartphone to ditch the in-house Vibe UI in favor of stock Android UI, the upcoming K8 Note Lite & K8 Plus will also come with vanilla flavored Android. The Lenovo K8 Note came in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage respectively.
The USP of the device is its 13MP + 5MP dual rear cameras that offer DSLR-like bokeh effect. There is also a 13MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. Both the front and rear cameras come accompanied with LED flash. It comes with a unibody metal design and sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone is powered by 64-bit MediaTek Helio X23 deca-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It is backed by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery that also supports fast charging via 15W turbo charge.
Apart from the volume rocker and power button, there is also an additional button called Music key to control the music player. With the Nano-coating technology, the K8 Note is also splash proof. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear of the device. Having said that, we would like to know your thoughts on this. Let us know, how many of you would prefer stock UI over the customised UI.
