HTC 10 with Snapdragon 820 SoC & 4GB RAM Launched at Rs. 52,990
HTC had launched its latest flagship HTC 10 last month in two variants. The high-end variant comes powered by Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor while the other variant comes with Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor. At the time of launch, HTC only announced the SD 652 powered HTC 10 for world’s largest smartphone markets China and India. But the later, the Snapdragon 820 backed variant is also listed on the company’s official website in both the countries.
Over a month later, today the company made the Snapdragon 820 backed HTC 10 available in India for Rs. 52,990. It comes in Carbon Gray and Topaz Gold colors but includes just 32GB of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for expanding the storage additionally upto 2TB. It sports 5.2-inch Super LCD 5 display with Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution and a pixel density of 564ppi. The dual curved Gorilla Glass 4 protects the display from scratches and drops.
The 2.2GHz Snapdragon 820 processor is assisted by Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It features a 12MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash, laser autofocus and optical image stabilization (OIS). For selfies, it has a 5MP sensor on the front with autofocus and OIS. It runs on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the latest Sense UI 8.0 laid on top. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers connectivity options likeG LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, Bluetooth, AirPlay, GPS/GLONASS, and USB Type-C port.
It is backed by a non-removable 3,000mAh battery that is rated to deliver 21 hours of talk time and lasts upto 21 days on standby mode. The device also supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 that charge 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes. The device measures 145.9 x 71.9 x 9.0 mm and weighs 161 grams.
