Intex Cloud String HD with 8MP Camera & Fingerprint Sensor launched at Rs. 5,599

Last week, Intex launched its first smartphone with fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C port called as Aqua Secure priced at Rs. 6,499. Today, the brand has come up with yet another entry-level offering in its Cloud series called as Intex Cloud String HD in India. The smartphone priced at Rs. 5,599 come with affordable features and is available for sale online exclusively via Flipkart.

Regarding specifications, the Cloud String HD comes with 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD on-cell display that offers a pixel density of 294ppi. Under the hood, it comes equipped with Spreadtrum SC9832A quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. It has 8GB of inbuilt storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory upto 32GB.

On the camera section, the smartphone features an 8MP autofocus rear camera with Samsung sensor, f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie images. It includes a fingerprint sensor for enhanced security that can be assigned to unlock the device and specific apps. The Cloud String HD is the second handset from the company that comes with a fingerprint sensor. It supports 4G-LTE with VoLTE and includes other basic connectivity options like 2G/3G HSPA+, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0 port.

The handset powers a 2200mAh battery that is rated to offer upto 7 hours of talk time and upto 190 hours of standby time. Like other Intex devices, the smartphone supports 21 regional languages and includes many bloatware apps like Mobikwik, Saavn, Opera Mini and FreeCharge. The dimensions of the device measure 144.5 x 72.5 x 8.7 mm weighs around 150 grams and is available in Black and White color option. If you wish to spend a little more out of your pockets then Coolpad Note 3 Lite,  Micromax Canvas xp 4G, and Infocus Bingo 50 are even better options.
