In a short period since its inception in December 2014, Brainchild of Rahul Sharma (Micromax Chairman), the YU Televentures has established its name in Indian market for offering variety of handsets at affordable pricing. Today, the brand announced its all-new flagship smartphone, the YU Yunicorn. The brand has been known for naming its handsets with quirky words to set them apart from the competition.
Let’s talk briefly about the specifications of the Yunicorn smartphone. The device sports a 5.4-inch 1080p display with a pixel density of 406 PPI. It is powered by a Helio P10 processor, which is Octa-core MediaTek chipset. Accompanied by a 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with some tweaks by the company, although, you’ll see a stock like UI. In terms of camera, the rear module boasts a 13MP sensor while the front module has a 5MP sensor.
