YU Yunicorn with Helio P10 SoC, 4GB RAM & 4000mAh Battery Launched
After postponing the launch of YU Yunicorn, YU Televentures officially unveiled its latest smartphone today in New Delhi, India. The device comes with a metal body with a 2.5D glass on the front. It will be exclusively sold through Flipkart at a price of Rs. 19,999. The Yunicorn still runs on in-house Yu OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and we can expect it to be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the near future.
It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and is powered by MediaTekH Helio P10 octa-core processor clocked at 1.95GHz. The device includes 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded upto 128GB via MicroSD card slot. In the camera department, it has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.
The device is kept powered on by a 4,000mAh battery and can easily last more than a day of mixed usage. It is also first YU smartphone to feature a physical home button on the front. The fingerprint sensor can be spotted on the rear of the device. It is a dual SIM device that supports 4G LTE and offers basic connectivity features.
