A few months back, the company raised $12 million in funding which makes them sustainable till the year end. More than selling the hardware devices, the company is intended to work on Sailfish OS and is looking to make money by licensing it. The Sailfish OS supports Android apps but doesn’t come with Play Store, though there will be few compatibility issues.

Now Jolla launched a new Jolla C Limited Edition smartphone that will be available only in 1,000 units. It will be available only for developers and enthusiasts from the newly announced Sailfish OS community.
