BlackBerry Aurora Smartphone with 5.5″ HD Display & 4GB RAM Listed Online

Recently we have witnessed TCL launching the BlackBerry KEYone smartphone with a 4-row QWERTY keyboard and touch screen display. Now, another company, BB Merah Putih from Indonesia will be soon launching another BlackBerry smartphone called Aurora. With the agreements made BB Merah Putih for Indonesia, the company will launch this new device and it is now available for pre-order on a popular Indonesian website. An image of the device has leaked showing the front side of the handset.
According to the rumored specifications, the BlackBerry Aurora will come with a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, and under the hood, there is a 1.4 GHz Quadcore Snapdragon 425 processor and coupled with Adreno 308 GPU 4GB of RAM. The onboard memory on the handset is 32GB which could be extended further up to 128GB via microSD card slot. Out of the box, the device will sport the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is also dual SIM variant that supports 4G LTE connectivity.
Coming to the camera front, there is a 13MP rear-facing camera with LED flash, and it is accompanied with an 8MP selfie camera. To power it, there is a 3000mAh battery on the rear which should last an entire day on normal usage. There are connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS, A-GPS and few others. Earlier the device was codenamed as BBC100-1, and from the leaked image we can also say that are no capacitive touch buttons.
The BlackBerry Aurora is expected to be priced at RP 34,99,000 (Approx Rs. 17,476 / US$ 260). Moreover, the handset will come in Black, Gold, and Silver color variants and is expected to go official very soon. Nothing has been mentioned about the global roll out of the device.
