Lava Mobiles launches the Z25 & Z10 smartphones in India at Rs. 18,000 & Rs. 11,500 respectively

Lava, the Indian handset maker launched the 4G connect M1 VoLTE Feature Phone last month, and now the company has launched two new smartphones here at an event in New Delhi, India. Lava Mobile has launched the Z25 and Z10 smartphones today, and both the smartphones are camera centric devices with the main focus being smartphone photography. The Z25 is the company’s flagship range of smartphone whereas the Z10, on the other hand, is more of a budget-centric offering and both the smartphones are priced very competitively.

Lava Z25

The Z25 as mentioned earlier is the company’s flagship offering and it has a great set of specs for the price at which is being offered at. It is powered by a 1.51GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 chip and along with that, it has 4GB of RAM which should allow for a great multitasking experience. It also has the Mali-T860 GPU for graphics processing. The Z25 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with Star OS 3.3 and it is expected that it will soon be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat. The device also has 32GB of onboard internal storage.

The Lava Z25 has a 5.5″ HD IPS display on the front which has a resolution of 1280 s 720 and it is covered with a 2.5D curved glass. The camera being the main focus, the Z25 comes with a 13MP rear facing camera and there is also an 8MP front-facing selfie shooter. The device is kept powered by a 3020 mAh battery which should be good a day’s worth of usage. There is also a super fast fingerprint scanner at the back of this smartphone. The Lava Z25 is priced at 18,000 INR which is not bad considering the specs that it is offering and it will be available in Champagne Gold and Grey.

Lava Z10

The Lava Z10 is powered by a 64-bit Quad-core CPU and it has 2GB of RAM to go with it. It also has 16GB of internal storage for storing your media and other files. The Lava Z10 has a metal body and it has a 5″ IPS display which has a resolution of 1280 x 720 which is covered by a 2.5D curved glass. On the camera side of things, here we are looking at an 8MP rear facing camera, whereas, on the front, we have a 5MP selfie shooter which the company is calling the big pixel camera.

The Z10 is also running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with Star OS 3.3 and it has a 2620 mAh battery powering it from the inside. The Lava Z10 is priced at 11,500 INR which is again on the lower side since it is more of a budget offering and the device will be available in the Gold color variant.
