You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

Karbonn K9 Smart Eco and K9 Smart Yuva are the two new smartphones that have been announced by the company and will be the successor of Karbonn K9 which was launched last year. There is no information on the pricing and availability of these two new devices yet but is expected to be revealed soon. Recently we have also seen Karbonn launched its A41 Power for Rs. 4,099 in India. Both the devices come powered with 2300mAh of battery and are dual-SIM variants.

The Karbonn K9 Smart Eco comes with a 5-inch FWVGA touch screen display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels which gives out a pixel density of 196ppi. The handset will be available in Coffee-Champagne, Black-Champagne, Gold and White-Champagne color variants. Under the hood, there is a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. Out of the box, it will run on Android 7.0 Nougat operating System but nothing mentioned about a further update.

The K9 Smart Eco is limited to 3G connectivity as it lacks 4G option. This will be a big letdown as all the entry-level smartphones in the market also offer 4G connectivity. The company has provided 2MP front as well as 2MP rear-facing cameras and as mentioned earlier the device sports 2300mAh battery without any quick charge support. The device will be targeted towards first time Android users and expected to be priced at Rs. 4000 in the country.

Coming to K9 Smart Yuva. It comes with a textured back cover and supports 4G LTE connectivity. There is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM as well as 8GB of onboard storage which can be further extended up to 8GB via microSD card slot. The smartphone comes out of the box with Android 7.o Nougat operating system and is powered by a 2300mAh battery.

The K9 Smart Yuva comes with 5-inch FWVGA touchscreen display similar to K9 Smart Eco. There is a 5MP rear facing camera with LED flash which will be accompanied by a 2MP camera on the front. The device measures 145 mm x 72 mm x 11 mm in dimensions and weighs 174 grams. Are you planning to get any of these devices?
