Samsung Is Said To Be Working On A Smartwatch-Fitness Tracker Hybird

Samsung has been on the news for the past couple of days due to various leaks about the upcoming Note 8 smartphone. However, now we have a new report which talks about something different from the Galaxy Note 8. Yes, according to the new report which we have, it looks like Samsung is working on a wearbale device. No, we aren’t talking about VR since we already have a lot of them in the market and in fact, even Samsung has just recently updated its VR headset.

The wearable which we are talking about here is a fitness tracker-smartwatch hybrid. So essentially what we are looking at here is sort of a Fitbit Blaze, i.e. a smartwatch which is more fitness oriented. Samsung has revealed a few details on this device. Apparently, the company has sent out a survey to members of its SmartLab Plus program. For those of you who have no idea on what this SmartLab Plus program is, it is a new SmartLab Plus is a new interactive online space built by Samsung.

The source has confirmed that one of its member have received this survey, where the company is asking for opinions on some tag lines that will be used to promote the new product. As you can probably see from the screenshot, the company has revealed that the product is sort of an hybrid and they have taken whats best from both Gear Fit2 as well as Gear S3 to come up with it. It looks like it have a user replaceable thin strap as well.

Looking at all this, it certainly does look like the company is planning to unite both products i.e. fitness tracker and a smartwatch to make things more easier for the consumers. Speaking of the details, it is unclear as to when the company will unveil this. We don’t have any info regarding the pricing of this particular product as well.
