HTC Desire 628 with 5″ Display & 3GB RAM Leaked in Press Renders
HTC had recently launched the Desire 825 and Desire 830 smartphones in its home country. Today a new mid-range device named HTC Desire 628 is leaked by the leakster with the twitter handle @the_maligant. The device looks similar to the Desire 830 but comes in a smaller form factor. It sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display which is smaller than 5.5-inch display of Desire 830.
It is powered by MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The device includes 3GB of RAM which might make the Desire 628 most affordable HTC device to feature such a high RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded further via MicroSD card slot. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE connectivity.
The device might come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Sense UI out-of-the-box. It has a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP front camera for selfies. The device is kept powered on by a 2,200mAh battery that may not last more than a day of usage. From the images, we can find the Boomsound speakers on the front.
It includes a MicroUSB 2.0 port on the bottom edge while the 3.5mm audio port can be found on the top.
