LG Stylus 2 with 5.7″ HD Display & 8MP Selfie Camera Launched at Rs. 19,500
LG has showcased the LG Stylus 2, the successor for LG G4 Stylus at the MWC 2016. Now the device is officially launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 19,500 and will be available starting tomorrow. It comes in Brown and Titanium colors and has a textured finish on the back that offers excellent grip. The rubber tipped stylus which was shipped with G4 Stylus now comes with nano coated tip on Stylus 2 for providing better accuracy.
Though the device is a good upgrade over the G4 Stylus, we can still found few similar specifications between both these devices. It sports the same 5.7-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display as on G4 Stylus and is powered by 1.2GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor along with Adreno 304 GPU. The device was earlier announced with 1.5GB of RAM but in India, the company ships it with 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of onboard storage that can be further expanded via provided MicroSD card slot.

The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE with VoLTE and VoWiFi support. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery that can easily last more than a day of usage with the less powerful 720p display.
The LG Stylus 2 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the LG UX 5.0 UI overlaid. It measures 155 x 79.6 x 7.4 mm and weighs 145 grams. It includes several Stylus related features like Pen Pop, Pop Memo, Pop Scanner, and Pen Keeper. The Pop Memo can be used for writing instantly after removing the Stylus and Pop Scanner converts angled screenshots into images.
The Pen Keeper alerts when the Stylus slot is empty for a longer durations. The Calligraphy Pen mode converts normal handwriting into calligraphy. LG is also offering the interactive Quick Cover for free along with every device, though it will be for a limited time. The edge of the smart cover display notifications and can answer calls without opening the sleeve. It can be purchased through both online and offline stores across the country.
