Upcoming OPPO F3 Plus Photos Leaked, Expected to be Priced at Rs. 30,000

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

In two days, OPPO will be unveiling its first ever dual camera smartphone OPPO F3 Plus in India. On the same day, it will be simultaneously launched in six other Asian countries as well. It will be the successor to last year’s OPPO F1 Plus which is the same OPPO R9 that was launched in China. As seen with the OPPO F1 smartphones, the upcoming OPPO F3 and F3 Plus smartphones will be sold in India and Southeast Asian countries. The OPPO F3 Plus features the dual-lens camera on the front and will be in direct competition with the Vivo V5 Plus.

Based on the leaks, we expect the OPPO F3 Plus to come with the same specifications as on the OPPO R9s Plus except for the front camera. The device will be available in the Gold and Rose Gold color options. It sports a 6-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The device comes with very thin bezels on the side measuring just 1.66mm. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 653 (MSM8976 Pro) octa-core processor clocked at 1.95GHz and coupled with Adreno 510 GPU.

While the OPPO R9s Plus came with 6GB of RAM, the OPPO F3 Plus will be limited to 4GB of RAM. The 16MP camera on the rear comes with f/1.7 aperture, 6P lens, and OIS+. Talking about the selfie camera on this selfie-centric smartphone, it sports a 16MP and 8MP dual-lens camera with dual PDAF technology that can capture 120-degree wide-angle selfies. As seen with the earlier launched OPPO smartphones, we don’t expect the company will be upgrading the ColorOS from Android 6.0 marshmallow to Android 7.0 Nougat anytime soon.

It sports an all-metal unibody design with the six-string Antenna bands on top and bottom rear of the device. The Antenna bands on Galaxy C9 Pro also comes with the similar design. With all these high-end specifications, the F3 Plus includes a 4,000mAh non-removable battery that might give at least a day long battery life. The exact pricing of the device is not known yet, but the special edition device with free Bluetooth headset and fitness band is listed for VND 10,690,000 (approx $470 / Rs. 30,000) in Vietnam.

At this price, the OPPO F3 Plus will be the costliest smartphone from OPPO in the last couple of years. In 2014, the company launched the OPPO N1 with a 13MP rotating camera in India for Rs. 39,999. Currently, the OnePlus 3T with flagship specifications is the much better alternative at this price range. As the official launch date is just two days away, stay tuned on PhoneRadar for official specifications along with the pricing and availability of the device.
