AT&T Unveils The New Primetime Android tablet With 10″ FHD Display & 2GB RAM
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
It has been a while since we have reported about a tablet launch, however, no one really expected one to be launched in 2017 anyway. However, now we have a new tablet to enter the market and this one is from AT&T. Yes, the U.S. carrier AT&T just unveiled a new tablet called Primetime and it runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. This new tablet will go on sale from August 25th and it is going to be an AT&T exclusive, which you can buy from their online as well as offline stores.
Talking about the specs, the AT&T Primetime tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC. This is coupled with 2GB of RAM and it comes with 32GB of internal storage as well. On the front, there is a huge 10-inch FHD display meaning that it has a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Keeping the lights on this display on will be a massive 9,070 mAh battery, which we hope will do a good job of keeping this powered on.
As mentioned earlier, the software on this tablet is Android 7.1 Nougat. In terms of the camera, we are just looking at a 5MP rear as well as front-facing cameras, so don’t expect some extremely high quality images here. However, we feel that it is really not something that should bother you a lot since this is essentially a tablet. This tablet focuses more on entertainment and media consumption.
The tablet has dual front-facing speakers (with Dolby Audio) and it also features support for dual Bluetooth media streams. This essentially means that a user can stream the audio to a pair of headphones as well as play it simultaneously via the speakers as well. Additionally, it also comes with DirectTV support in the U.S.
Now, talking about the pricing, the Primetime tablet will set you back $10 a month for 20 months with an installment plan. That way it adds upto $200, however, alternatively, you can also buy it for $29.99 with a two-year contract. As mentioned earlier, this will be an AT&T exclusive and can be purchased from online as well as offline stores.
