Huawei Mate 10 Smartphone To Sport Leica-Branded Dual Rear Camera, Teaser Video Confirms
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Teaser videos have been taking over the internet today. Earlier this morning, we had reported about Samsung releasing a teaser video about the global rollout of Bixby. And now, we have yet another teaser video, however, this one is coming from Huawei and it takes about the Dual camera setup from Leica. If you anything about Huawei, then you already know that Leica branded dual camera is their thing and it looks like they are not going to give it up when it comes to the Mate 10.
As you can see from the teaser video which is embedded below, the Huawei’s upcoming Mate 10 will sport Leica branded dual camera setup. Yes, the video didn’t exactly tell us that they are talking about the Mate 10, but the teaser did tell us that it is a smartphone from the Mate series. And considering the fact that we don’t have anything coming from the company in the Mate series, we highly believe that this is indeed the Mate 10.
The teaser as mentioned earlier didn’t really talk much about the smartphone. In fact, they only showed the camera module, where the Leica branding was clearly visible. This is definitely not a surprise for us since they have a really good partnership. If you look carefully, then you can spot the 12MP color sensor as well as a 20MP monochrome sensor. This is very similar to the other smartphones from Huawei in the past like the Huawei P9, P10, etc. In fact, the resolution itself has not changed as well, but it is expected that it will have some software enhancements and other changes.
As far as the other specs are concerned, there is not a lot known officially, however, rumors has it that this smartphone will launch with a hefty price tag. It looks like this will have a huge 6″ bezel-less display following the trend and even the resolution and the aspect ratio is expected to be 18:9 and 2160 x 1080 respectively. Internally, it looks like it will be powered by Kirin 970 chipset. While all these are just rumors, we hope to learn more about it in coming days and weeks as we get closer to the October 16th launch date. Having said that, be sure to let us know your thoughts about this smartphone in the comment section below.
