Exclusive – LG Q6 Plus with FullVision Display & 4GB RAM to Launch Soon in India for Rs. 17,990

Earlier this week, LG has officially launched the all-new LG Q6 smartphone in India, The device is available exclusively through Amazon India and is priced very aggressively at Rs. 14,990. It was first announced in July 2017 along with the LG Q6 Plus and Q6 Alpha smartphones. According to our exclusive source, LG India will also launch the LG Q6 Plus smartphone soon in India. While the LG Q6 is retailing at Rs. 14,990, the new LG Q6 Plus will be coming with a price tag of Rs. 17,990. The device comes in Astro Black, Ice Platinum, and Marine Blue color options.
Apart from the bump in RAM and internal storage, the LG Q6 Plus shares the same design and specifications with the LG Q6. As of now, there is no information whether the device will be Amazon exclusive or not. Since the LG Q6 Plus will officially launch on September 10th in India, we can only confirm the availability on that day. Talking about the specifications, it sports the same 5.5-inch FullVision display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio as seen on the LG Q6. Under the hood is the 64-bit Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz.
It comes coupled with Adreno 505 GPU and 4GB of RAM. There is 64GB of internal storage that can be further expanded using the dedicated MicroSD card slot. Talking about the cameras, there is a 13MP camera on the rear with LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera on the front with 100-degree wide-angle lens. It comes with an Aluminium frame, but the back is made of plastic. The volume rocker, MicroSD card slot and Dual SIM card slot are placed on the left edge, and power button alone sits on the right edge. It is also got the MIL-STD 810G military certification.
The device measures 142.5 x 69.3 x 8.1 mm and weighs 149 grams. It is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery and measures just 8.1 mm thick. There is no fingerprint sensor on the LG Q6 Plus, but it includes the face unlock and knock code to make the device secure. It runs on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with the LG UX 6.0 UI on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
