Google Pixel 2 Gets Leaked In Images, Sports Large Bezels & Single Rear-Facing Camera

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

Google Pixel 2 and the Pixel XL 2 are probably two of the most anticipated devices of all time. While there is a lot of info available about them, most of them are rumors and can’t be trusted. However, we do have a new report now, which gives us an idea of what to expect from this year’s smaller of the two pixels and in fact, there is also an image of the same.

According to the leaked info shared by the popular leakster Evan Blass on Twitter, the upcoming Google Pixel 2 doesn’t look all that different from the last year’s variant. Yes, the image which you below is said to be of the upcoming Pixel 2 and well, it looks nothing like what we were expecting it would look like.

As you can see from the image, there are large bezels on both top and the bottom of the display. In a time when most of the high-end flagships are coming out with bezel-less displays, this certainly looks like a major disappointment from Google. Well, yes, it is not mandatory to have bezel-less displays on a smartphone, but it definitely adds to the overall appeal of the smartphone and it is clearly missing here. However, it is worth noting the fact that this is just a leaked image and the final product might look significantly different than what we have right now.

Another thing which is clearly noticeable here is the fact that there is only a single sensor at the back, for the camera. Well, yes, again, it is not mandatory to have dual rear-cameras on a smartphone, but as you might already know, the current trend seems to be something way different. But there is no denying that the Google Pixel and the Pixel XL have one of the best smartphone cameras out there and hence, probably Google went with the same sensors.

Having said that, we would like to know your thoughts on this. Let us know what do you think about this leaked image by leaving a comment down below.
