Philips Xenium V787 Plus Announced with 5000mAh Battery & 3GB RAM

Philips is a well-known brand that is headquartered in Amsterdam that deals with Consumer Electronics, Lighting, and healthcare. Now the company has come forward to launch a new device called as Philips Xenium V787 Plus which will be the successor of Xenium V787 that was launched in 2016. This Dutch based company does not make many smartphones but the new device will come with aviation aluminum body design and it will go on sale in Russia for 15,000 Rubles. Nothing is mentioned about the global launch of the smartphone for now.

Coming to the specifications of the device, the handset will come with a 5-inch IPS FHD touchscreen display that supports multi-touch upto 5 fingers. The device offers 401ppi of pixel density and is protected with Ashai DragonTrail Glass 2. Out of the box, the Xenium V787 Plus will run on an older Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, while nothing is mentioned about the further updates.

Under the hood, there is a MediaTek MT6753 SoC with eight cores and a clocking speed of 1.3GHz, To accompany this, there is 3GB of RAM and Mali T720 GPU. the onboard storage is limited to 32GB which can be extended further up to 128GB via microSD card slot. coming to the camera, the device will be sporting a 13MP main sensor with autofocus, and an aperture size of f/2.2 and is also capable of capturing 1080pp videos as 30fps. For selfies and video calling, there is a 5.3MP camera on the front.

To power the device there is a 5000mAh battery which should be good enough to last an entire day on normal to heavy usage. This is a dual SIM variant and also supports 4G LTE connectivity.
