You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

The low-cost smartphone maker, Swipe has launched a new VR enabled smartphone called Elite VR. It is priced at just Rs. 4,499 and comes with much better hardware than the other devices in the similar price range. However, the device will be only available through Shopclues. Much like any other entry-level smartphone. the Elite VR also offers polycarbonate body with removable back cover. Swipe is also offering a free VR headset with the device. The Elite VR also supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G VoLTE connectivity for using with the Jio 4G SIM.

It sports a large 5.5-inch IPS display and offers HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is an unspecified quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and comes coupled with 1GB of RAM. There is just 8GB of onboard storage, but the user can further expand using the MicroSD card slot. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and includes bloatware apps which decrease the available storage. Talking about the cameras, there is a 13MP sensor on the rear with LED flash and a 5MP sensor on the front for selfies and video calls.

The volume rocker and power button are placed on the right edge of the device. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery that should easily give a day long battery life. On the bottom rear of the device, we can find the loud speaker. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.
