CREO has recently launched a new smartphone, i.e., the Mark 1 priced at INR 19,999. The device comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB as its internal storage and can be expanded to 128 GB using an external Micro SD card. It is powered by MediaTek Helio MT6795M Octa core processor clocked at 1.95 GHz coupled with PowerVR G6200 GPU. The device packs a 3100 mAh Li-Poly battery and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 with Fuel OS. The primary camera on the device is 21 MP and comes with an LED flash adjacent to it and 8 MP selfie shooter. To insert the SIM card on your device power off your device and push the SIM ejector tool to remove the SIM card tray and place the SIM on it. Now push the SIM card trays back and boot your device. You have successfully inserted SIM card don your device and it will be ready for use in some time.

What is the type of SIM supported on this device?

The device comes with both Nano and Micro SIM card slots on it. The Nano SIM card slot is a hybrid slot where you can either insert a SIM card or use the port to extend the memory on your device.

How to share your Data network via Tethering on the device?

Sharing of the data network can be done using the tethering mode on your device. To share the data network on your device, open the Settings and tap on More in Wireless & network. In the new window, tap on Tethering &portable hotspot and click on Wi-Fi hotspot. Further, toggle the off button to enable on your device. The password for your device can be set by tapping on Set Up Wi-Fi hotspot in the same window.

How to take a Screenshot on my CREO MARK 1?

There are three ways in which you can capture a screenshot on your device.

Method 1: This is the regular method of capturing a screenshot where you need to press the power button along with the volume down button to capture screenshot on your device.

Method 2: In the you need to hold the power button until the power window opens. Now you need to tap on the screenshot option to capture screenshot on your device.

Method 3: This is the gesture method of capturing a screenshot where you need to swipe three fingers from top to bottom of the screen to capture screenshot on your device.

The captured screenshot is saved to the gallery on your device and can be quickly accessed from the notification panel on your device.

How to check for the Android Updates on the device?

Android updates help in fixing the bugs on your device. To check for Android Updates on your smartphone, open the settings and tap on About Phone. In the new window, you will find the options check for fuel OS updates, tap on it and click on check for updates. In the new window, tap on the three-dotted button and click on battery saver and toggle the off button to enable that on your device.

Acceleration, Gravity, Gyroscope, Gyroscope uncalibrated, Light Sensor, Linear Acceleration, Magnetic field, Orientation, Proximity, and Rotation vector are the sensors available on the device and helps in automating the device.

No there are no LED notification lights available on the device.

Though the device comes with Android Lollipop 5.1, there is no screen pinning feature available on your device.

What are the Pre-installed Apps on the device?

The device comes with all the Google related apps, essential tools like calc, camera, FM Radio, galley, Refuel and Retriever options pre-installed on your device.

Can I Move apps from phone storage to SD card on this device?

There is no such option available on the device using which we can move apps from internal to external storage on your device.

How much is the internal storage on the CREO MARK 1?

The device comes with 32 GB as its internal storage and around 24.61 GB of free space is available for the end user, and rest of the space is occupied by pre-installed apps and Fuel OS.

How much free RAM is available on the device if no apps are running?

The device comes with 3GB of RAM where 606MB of RAM is used by system, 337 MB of RAM is used by pre-installed apps and around 1.8 GB of RAM is available when no apps are running on the device.

Does the device support OTG?

Yes, the device does support the USB OTG and helps in transferring of data from the device to drive and vice versa.

What is the SAR Value of the device?

The radio wave exposure guidelines employ a unit of measurement known as Specific Absorption Rate(SAR). The SAR limit recommended by the International commission on non-ionizing radiation protection is 2 W/Kg averaged over 10g tissue. The device comes with Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box. There is no information of the device getting Android Marshmallow update but the brand has already started working on it, and the device may get the Android M update by the end of the year.

What are the gesture options available on the device?

The device comes with few gesture options, i.e., screen-off gestures and screen on gestures to open few applications directly on your device. The screen on gestures available on the device is the double tap to sleep and swipe three fingers to capture a screenshot. The screen-off gestures on the device include double tap to wake up, draw c for the camera, draw v for torch and music control options. These options must be enabled on your device before you use them on it. To enable this on your device, open the Settings and tap on gestures in the device section. In the new window, toggle the button adjacent to each of the options to enable them on your device.

How to Swap the function of the capacitive button on your device?

The device comes with an interesting feature where you can swap the functions of each of these options on your device i.e., the operations of left and right button will be interchanged. To change this on your device, open the Settings and tap on Buttons. In the new window, tap on swap buttons to enable the option on your device.

To enable the developer mode on your device, you need to open the settings and tap on About Phone in the system section. In the new window, tap on the Build Number option for about 7-8 times to enable that on your device. Creo Mark 1 comes with a special feature where it directly copies the OTP to the clipboard, and you just need to long press and paste it to complete your transaction making it simple.
