Google Allo is the new Messaging App with built-in Google Assistant
At the Google I/O 2016, Google introduced a new messaging app called Allo. It will be available starting from next month for both Android and iOS. The app comes with built-in Google Assistant, which was also introduced on the same stage. Apart from the messaging, the Allo uses the assistant right in the same chat for sharing media or buying things.
Now the Google Allo will compete with the Whatsapp and Messenger from Facebook along with Telegram, Line, WeChat, and others. The Allo can be used with a mobile number without requiring Google account, though not all the features will be available without adding Google account. The app will be encrypted, and incognito mode makes the chat end-to-end encrypted.
Apart from the personal contact, the user can have a one on one chat with Google Assistant. The Smart Reply feature suggests few options which might be a possible answer. With more and more usage, the app becomes more smarter which in return makes the suggestion more relevant.
