LeEco 5000mAh Two-way USB Type-C Fast Charging Power Bank Launched
Last month, LeEco had officially launched three new Superphones Le 2, Le 2 Pro, and Le Max 2 in China. Unlike last year devices, the new Superphones came with two-way Type-C cable for both adapter and device. The earlier launched Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P also came with same two-way USB cable. The power banks with normal USB port cannot be used with this device, hence the company had unveiled a new USB Type-C fast charging power bank.
The new 2-way USB Type-C power bank can be used with the newly Superphones along with any other USB Type-C device having two-way Type-C cable. It comes with a capacity of 5,000mAh and takes 2.5 hours for a full charge. It supports fast charging output at 5V/3A , 9V/2A, and 12V/1.5A configurations. The new power bank includes Texas instruments circuit chip providing 10 layers of circuit protection including overcharge and discharge protections.
It can also be used with other devices without quick charge support and it automatically adjusts the power output. In March this year, Xiaomi also launched a USB Type-C power bank with 10,000mAh capacity. Unlike LeEco’s power bank, it includes bother regular USB port and a Type-C USB port. While the Xiaomi’s powerbank with 10,000mAh capacity is priced at 149 Yuan, the LeEco power bank with 5,000mAh capacity is priced higher at 179 Yuan.
The power bank measures just 8.3mm thickness comes with rounded corners. As of now, it is available only in White color and we expect other colors to be available soon. It will be purchased through LeMall starting from May 10th in China. The same power bank can be also launched in India alongside the latest Le 2 smartphones in the coming months. Stay tuned for more updates!
