TCL, one of the largest Chinese electronics manufacturer is set to expand its brand globally. The company also sells the smartphone under the brand Alcatel which has a good little market share in most of the Western markets. Both Alcatel and TCL smartphone are already available in India, but now the company has sent out the press invites for the global launch event of TCL 560 which will be held on July 4th in New Delhi.

The TCL 560 is said to feature the IRIS scanner for making the device even more secure. It unlocks the device by scanning the retina in the human eyes, just like fingerprints, every human has different retina identification. In December last year, TCL also launched the TCL Pride T500L Android smartphone in India with IRIS scanner. It is priced at Rs. 10,499 and is sold exclusively through Snapdeal.
