The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo is gearing up for its next smartphone launch, which is expected to happen on 30th June. There have been numerous speculations regarding the specifications of x7. The company also teased a couple of specs as we were getting close to the reported release date. The company did not tease much, but we got a pretty good idea about the device.
Looking at the teased specifications the phone looked like a camera-centric device. It is said to feature a 16-megapixel front-facing selfie shooter. But now as we get very close to the smartphone’s release, we get a complete specifications list of it. The Vivo X7 received its TNEAA certification. Looking at the information, it appears that we are going to have two variants release by the company.
Both Vivo X7 and Vivo X7 Plus appears on the website, but we only have x7’s complete set of specifications. According to the website, the X7 is expected to feature a 5.2-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920. Under the hood will be a Snapdragon 652 chipset, coupled with Adreno 510 GPU. The smartphone will come with a 4GB of RAM and a 64GB of native storage.
As reported earlier, the smartphone will be camera-centric and is expected to feature a 13-megapixel rear facing shooter and a whopping 16-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. The company also teased a fingerprint scanner earlier, which is going to be embedded in the home button on the front of the device. The internals will be powered by a 2930 mAh battery, which should make it through a day.
It will run Android 5.1 out of the box, and we expect it will be upgraded to 6.0 Marshmallow soon after release. The smartphone is expected to be launched in Gold and Rose Gold colors. It measures about 7.24mm in thickness and weighs in at 151 grams. As of now, the Larger variant, i.e., Vivo X7 Plus didn’t receive its certification.
