As teased earlier, Lenovo has officially launched its latest smartphone K6 Power today in India. The device was first introduced at IFA 2016 alongside the Lenovo K6 and K6 Note. Till date, a total of 13 million Lenovo and Moto devices are sold exclusively on Flipkart. Even one out of four smartphones sold online in India comes from Lenovo which also includes Moto brand. The K6 Power with 3GB RAM is priced at Rs.9,999 and will be exclsuively sold through Flipkart via open sales from December 6th. It comes with a complete metal body and has curved edges on the rear that offer nice grip to hold on. With such an affordable price tag, the K6 Power sports stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Coming to the USP of the device, it packs a massive 4,000mAh battery non-removable battery. According to the company, it can give 48 hours of talk time and lasts upto 649 hours on standby mode. With such a large battery, the device also supports reverse charging where other smartphones can be charged using the OTG cable. The K6 Power sports a 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 441 ppi. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz and coupled with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB of RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded additionally upto 128GB via MicroSD card slot.
In the camera department, the K6 Power packs a 13MP Sony IMX258 sensor on the rear with PDAF and Manual Mode. For selfies, there is an 8MP front camera with wide-angle lens. The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers VoLTE out of the box. Connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the latest Vibe UI on top. The circular fingerprint sensor placed on the rear can be also be used as shutter button in the camera app. It will be available in Gold, Silver, and Dark Gray color options.
