You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

A German website WinFuture has reported that Lenovo is working on a new 2-in-1 tablet-laptop hybrid device called as the Lenovo Miix 520 which will be the successor of the Lenovo Miix 510 that was launched couple of months earlier. The Miix 510 is powered by Windows 10 tablet-laptop hybrid with a 12.2-inch display and will also feature a pen stylus powered by Intel’s Core processors.

Well, from the new leaks the Lenovo Miix 520 seems to come with one inch bigger 12.3-inch display with 1920 x 1200 resolutions screen and will be available in the configuration ranging between Intel Core i3-6006U / 4GB RAM and Intel Core i7-7500U / 16GB RAM with 128GB and 1TB SSD storage options. Moreover, the device will come with dual camera setup on the rear (8MP + 2MP) for augmented reality purpose, and there will also be a 5MP camera on the front.

The processor used here is Intel’s seventh generation (i7) Kaby Lake line-up which is expected to give high performance. Stereo speakers have been added to the device with Dolby Advance Audio certification, and there will be three USB ports (two USB 3.1 Type-C ports and one USB 3.0 Type A). The device will be made by magnesium-aluminum alloy metal with a plastic strip on the top.

Reportedly, the battery on the device will be providing 10 hours of power and it is also said that the Miix 520 will be missing the cooling fans since the company has made a passive cooling fanless design which is based on heatpipes and vapor chambers. This keeps the components of the device cool by lowering the power draw of the processor from 15 watts to 10 watts which will also save power consumption.

The Miix 520 will be featuring a Wi-Fi antenna to improve the signal strength, and the device will come with an overall thickness of 9mm. The Miix 510 came with a 2.2-inch touchscreen display which comes with an optional pen with new Windows Ink that lets its user take notes quickly or draw anything on the screen. To provide better typing experience, the company has pushed a backlit keyboard that gives its user the typing experience that they need. So we might see this on this new device too.

The Miix 510 came with a 6th Generation Intel Core i7 processor coupled with Intel HD Integrated Graphics 520 and up to 8GB LPDDR4 RAM. There is a 5MP autofocus camera on the rear and a 2MP fixed focus camera on the front. It was available in Platinum Silver color variant went on sale for a starting price of $600.

Nothing is officially confirmed about the Lenovo Miix 520, but we might see some news popping out soon from the company. Until then stay tuned to Phoneradar and comment in the section below for more.
