Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Prime Smartphone made available in US via Amazon and eBay

Samsung’s new Galaxy J1 Mini Prime which has been leaking from quiet a time and now the device with a model number J106B is now available to buy via eBay and Amazon. The device is available for $89.99 on Amazon while it is available for a lesser price of $86.99 on eBay. The device comes unlocked with dual SIM support and is compatible with AT&T 3G network. It will also work on T-Mobile but only on 2G.
Earlier: Samsung is planning to unveil its new device called as Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Prime by the end of December 2016. Roland Quandt Aka @rquandt, tweeted that the Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Prime with model number Sm-J106 will be coming soon and he also shared few images of the device that reveal the specifications of the same. This budget friendly device comes with a firm grip due to its compact size and also features a wide angle view.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Prime will feature a 4-inch WVGA TFT display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels giving a pixel density of 233 PPI. Under the hood, there is a Quad-core 1.5GHz processor coupled with 1GB RAM for the 4G version (1.2GHz for the 3G variant). The handset will be available in Black, Gold and Rose Gold color options and the device will also be supporting 4G connectivity on both the SIM slots that are provided.
The onboard memory on the Galaxy J1 Mini Prime is 8GB which could be extended up to 32GB via microSD card. On the back, there is a small 1500 mAh battery to power the device, and there is news that the South Korean Giant will be pushing the Ultra power saving mode on to this device. Out of the box, the handset will be featuring Android 5.1 Lollipop and might also get further updates.

On the camera front, we cannot expect much since the device is budget oriented, the Galaxy J1 Mini Prime comes with a 5MP Autofocus camera on the rear with LED flash and it is accompanied with 0.3MP (VGA) camera on the front with F2.2 and F2.4 aperture respectively. The device will measure 10.7 mm thick. Moreover, the phone will have connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4 and USB 2.0 and other sensors required for automation.
