OPPO Find 9 Powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC Rumored to Launch at MWC 2017
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
OPPO along with Vivo are the two fastest growing smartphones brands in the world. In China, OPPO recently replaced Huawei as the largest smartphone brand. While the Vivo recently launched its flagship smartphone XPlay 6 with dual curved display along with top notch internals, OPPO is long rumored to bring the successor to the OPPO Find 7 that was launched in 2014. At that time, it is one of the very few devices to offer a Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display. Now the latest rumors suggest the company to launch the Find 9 smartphone in March 2017.
It is said to be powered by the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. This new processor is built using the Samsung’s most advanced 10nm FinFET processor. A few leaks also mentioned the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Edge smartphones that will be launched at the MWC 2017 will be the first devices to use the Snapdragon 835 SoC. If the rumors are to be believed, OPPO will also unveil its latest flagship device during the MWC 2017 that will be held in March 2017. At the MWC 2016, the company showcased the Super VOOC flash charge technology that can fully charge a 2,500mAh battery in just 15 minutes.
Till date, none of the OPPO devices have utilized this advanced technology. If the company includes all these features with the Find 9, then we can expect OPPO to continue its success journey in 2017 without much hassles. The recent reports claim OPPO and Vivo combinedly hold 1/3rd of the world’s largest smartphone market. Both these companies are also hugely investing in the world’s second largest smartphone market, India. Unlike many other foreign brands, OPPO and Vivo are mostly concentrating on the offline markets where most of the sales happen.
