Country’s one of the top telecom operators Vodafone India is offering 2GB of free data with 4G-ready SIM upgrade in selected circles. If you lives in Haryana, Mumbai, Tamil Nadu or Punjab and have a non-4G SIM card, then you can go to a Vodafone store nearby and opt out for 4G-ready Vodafone Supernet SIM card. As a reward, the company will give you 2GB of data for free.

The company named this offer named as Vodafone SuperNet 4G and available at all Vodafone Stores and Mini stores. Surprisingly, the 2GB free offer comes with ten days validity only. The 2GB data is 3G/4G, means it will work depending on your location. Also, depends on the availability of 3G or 4G in your circle.

Vodafone India Business Head of Haryana Circle Mohit Narru said, “Vodafone is proud to be the preferred telecom services provider to over 5.5 million customers in Haryana. We have made 2GB of Data free for our customers to start experiencing the benefits of Vodafone SuperNet 4G and be ready to enjoy high-speed mobile internet services. We are excited and fully geared up to offer our customers a superior network experience.”

Vodafone Mumbai circle business head Pushpinder Singh Gujral said, “the company serves over 8.5 million customers in the megapolis. Vodafone offers 4G services in Kerala, Kolkata, Karnataka, Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh (East) and Bengal. By the end of this fiscal, the company will offer 4G services in 2,400 more towns across 17 circles, including Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Goa, Assam and North-East, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh (West).”

This move of Vodafone clearly shows the Jio effect. Jio is still offering free services to its customers. Companies like Vodafone and Airtel are coming up with new plans daily. Recently, a report claimed that Airtel is working on upgrading its infrastructure to 4G in Delhi NCR. And it will complete it until the end of this month.

Last month Airtel also came up with a data offer on purchasing of any new 4G handset. Aitel was offering 10GB of 4G data for a recharge of INR 259 on a new 4G handset. Airtel said that 1GB data would be added to customer’s account instantly while the customer can claim remaining data later.

What do you think of this plan, will you upgrade to Vodafone 4G for 2GB of the internet or will you buy a Jio 4G SIM, which comes with unlimited voice calls, 4GB 4G internet daily and other services. Do let us know in comment section below.
