Moto X4 with Dual-lens Camera Now Leaked in Glossy Finish Blue Color
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
After launching the popular Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones, Lenovo has recently unveiled the Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus. While there are several leaks and rumors about the upcoming Moto X4, the company is yet to make any official confirmation. If the leaks are to believed, the company will launch the Moto X4 smartphone with dual rear cameras in Brazil on August 24th. It will be the successor to 2015 launched Moto X series devices like Moto X Play and Moto X Style. Last year, the company skipped launching the Moto X smartphones and instead came up with the new Moto Z series with customizable Moto Mods support.
The earlier leaked images unofficially confirmed the Moto X4 (a.k.a Moto X 2017) to come with the dual camera setup. We also got to see the device in the high quality press renders and now, the live images of the all-new blue colored Moto X4 are leaked online. The device comes with a glossy finish rear body that will compulsorily be a fingerprint magnet. Just like the new Moto devices, there is a large circular camera module on the rear that holds a 12MP primary sensor and an 8MP wide-angle sensor. It comes with dual tone LED flash and laser autofocus. While the functionalities aren’t unknown, the company is calling it as a smart camera.
It sports a metal frame with 3D curved glass on the rear. Based on the leaks, the Moto X4 sports a 5.2-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, it includes the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor. It will be available in 3GB & 4GB RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB storage options. There is also a 16MP selfie camera on the front that might record videos in 4K resolution. It measures 148.35 x 73.4 x 7.99 mm and weighs 163 grams. The Moto X4 will be backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery that also supports TurboCharge fast charging technology.
With the IP68 certification, the device will also be water and dust resistant. The smartphone supports three carrier aggregation (3CA) for faster data speeds and better network. From the earlier leaked image, we can also expect the device to feature the Always-on voice and AI (Artificial Intelligence) integration. The front-facing physical home button comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor. Since there is no confirmation from Motorola, take all these details with a pinch of salt until the official launch.
