Alcatel Pop Star with 5″ HD Display & 8MP Camera Launched at Rs. 6,999

Alcatel has launched a new smartphone, i.e., the Pop Star priced at Rs 6,999. This device is a part of the Mobile barnd’s POP series. The device comes with 5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels as its resolution and supports 16 M colors. The chipset on the device is MediaTek MT6580 and Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz coupled with Mali 400 MP2. The device is fully laminated and offers 75 % less light reflection for excellent readability under sunlight and a 160- degree wide-viewing angle.

The device comes with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB as its internal storage and can be expanded to 32 GB using a Micro SD Card. The device packs a 8 MP rear camera with LED flash which record HD videos at 30 fps and 5 MP front camera. The dimensions of the device include 141mm x 71.5mm and 8.6mm and weighs light. It is a dual SIM smartphone and supports dual standby. The SIM card supported by the device is Micro SIM card. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 2G/3G/4G network are the connectivity options available on the device. The device comes with Acceleration and Proximity sensors which help in device automation. The device is available in two variants of colors i.e., Metal Silver and Metal Gold.

We are expanding our smartphone range in the market and POP STAR is targeted at those consumers who prefer an all-features smartphone within a budget.”

The brand has partnered with the Gadgets 360 degree hence the smartphone will be exclusively available on their e-commerce site. The brand has quoted that Pop Star is their fashionable yet affordable range of smartphones.
