InFocus M888 with Helio X20 SoC, 3GB RAM & 16MP Camera Leaked

Last week, we had exclusively covered about the upcoming smartphone from InFocus that will be running on the latest Tencent OS 2.0. The device will be officially launched on May 30th in China and we don’t expect it to be available in any other country. Today Antutu has revealed the specifications of the InFocus M888 which is expected to be the same device that will be launched later this month.

According to the listing, the device comes with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. We expect the display of the device to measure anywhere from 5″ to 5.5″ with 2.5D glass laid on top. It will be powered by MediaTek Helio X20 (MT6797) deca-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz along it Mali T880 GPU. The M888 includes 3GB of RAM and 32B of internal storage and may include MicroSD slot as well.

As said earlier, the device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based TOS 2.0. This will also be the first smartphone to run on this latest OS. In the camera department, it sports a 16MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, and an 8MP selfie shooter on the front. The teaser image also suggests the device to feature fingerprint sensor on the rear. It comes with an all metal body and will support dual SIM cards.

The power button and volume rockers are placed on the right edge of the device GFXbench with mid-range specifications. It will be powered by Helio P10 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It features 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The InFocus S1 runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.

It offers 4G LTE connectivity and also NFC which makes the device available for making virtual payments. Till date, there is no official confirmation from the company about this device. Stay tuned for more details as the InFocus M888 is expected launch date is just a week away.
