InFocus is the U.S based consumer smartphone brand that had launched some decent smartphone in the Indian market along with other Asian countries. Now the company had announced to launch its new smartphone on May 30th in China. Unlike the earlier devices, this new device will be run on the yet to be announced Tencent OS 2.0. Tencent OS is the customized OS from the Tencent Holdings Limited, world’s fifth largest Internet company and also the maker of the popular instant messaging app, WeChat.

Just a month after Baidu shutdowns its Android-based Baidu Cloud OS in March 2015, Tencent announced its own operation system called Tencent OS (a.k.a TOS). Though this is not company’s first attempt on Android OS, earlier in 2012, Tencent launches the Tita OS based on Android 4.0 Icecream Sandwich. Tencent also invested $23 million in the worlds popular Android ROM maker Cyanogen Mod. Last year ZTE launched its smartwatch “Axon Watch” running on TOS.

Talking about the device, it comes with a metal body and the fingerprint sensor can be found on the rear of the device. The volume rocker and power button are placed on the right edge of the device. Till now,

As of now we don’t have any other information about the Tencent OS 2.0 or the smartphone itself. Since the official launch less than ten days away, stay tuned for more details as we expect more leaks in the coming days.
