OnePlus 3 with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Revealed in Leaked Renders

OnePlus 2 - Capacitive Buttons

OnePlus is expected to launch its latest flagship smartphone OnePlus 3 in the next couple of months. Though there is no official information about the device from the company, we already got the specification details of the device from the benchmark listings. It will be the direct successor for the OnePlus 2 that was launched in July last year. The latest leaked renders suggest the device with the model number A3000 to come with an all metal body.

The front of the device looks similar to the recently launched Meizu Pro 6 which also features an oval shaped home button. As seen with the OnePlus 2, the home button on the OnePlus 3 will come integrated with the fingerprint sensor. The power button is placed on the right edge of the device while the volume rockers can be found on the left edge. The Alert Slider, which was first introduced with the OnePlus 2, is continued onto the OnePlus 3.

On the back of the device, we can see the primary camera with single LED flash. Interestingly, there is no Laser Autofocus that was introduced with its predecessor. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based Oxygen 3.0 OS. The device sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and will be powered by latest Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor. It is expected to launch in two variants including 4GB and 6GB of RAM with 32GB and 64GB as internal storages respectively.

On the camera part, it features a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. If the rumors are to be believed, the basic variant with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage will cost lesser than its predecessor. Unlike OnePlus 2, the USB Type-C port on this device will be supporting fast charging. Since the device launch in expected to be in near future, there will be more leaks coming out in the coming days. Stay tuned!
