Honor 5C with 5.2″ Full HD Display & Kirin 650 SoC Launched in India
Honor has officially launched its latest smartphone H0nor 5C today in India. The device sports decent specifications which make its competitive as the other Chinese devices at this price range. It is the success for the popular Honor 4C that was launched in 2015 with a polycarbonate body. The Honor 5C was first launched in China in April this year and now in June, the device was made available in selected global markets. In Europe, it was launched at £149/€199 and missed the fingerprint sensor.
The device feels sturdy with the metal build body and curved edges that offer nice grip to hold on. It sports a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and is also the most affordable Honor smartphone to offers Full HD display. Under the hood, it is powered by 2.0GHz Kirin 650 octa-core processor built on 16nm FinFET Plus technology that offers higher performance with lesser power consumption. The Honor 5C also packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be further expanded via MicroSD card slot.
On the back, we can find the second generation fingerprint sensor that can unlock in less than a second. It features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera for selfies. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with the latest EMUI 4.1 laid on top. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery that is rated to deliver 19 hours of talk time and lasts upto 610 hours on standby.
